「淡々と凛々と」20代の頃の私にはその感覚が正直よく分からなかった。「淡々」が冷めた印象で寂しく感じた。数年前に福島の枝垂れ桜をスケッチした。どんな環境の時も淡然と、どのような恵みにも泰然と同じ場所で咲く姿に淡々と凛々と在るには静かな意思と全てを受け入れる覚悟が要るのだと教えられた。
吉田眞理子
When I was in my twenties, I honestly didn't really understand that feeling. I felt lonely with the impression that "innocent" was cold. I sketched a weeping cherry tree in Fukushima a few years ago. It was taught that it is necessary to have a quiet will and a willingness to accept everything in order to be calm and dignified in the appearance of blooming in the same place in any environment.

惹かれるまま、心の向くままに、ただ描く。
私の希求するもの、無垢、調和、自由…、直接的でなくても、絵の中に描けていられたら、と思います。
和田ひとえ
Just draw as you are attracted and as your heart faces.
What I want, innocence, harmony, freedom ... I wish I could draw it in the picture, even if it wasn't direct.

As a successor exhibition, it is an exhibition by 6 elite people who received scented pottery from both teachers.
I hope it will become a "Bamboo Wand No Kai" exhibition that matures and develops with each meeting.
